A true reflection of France’s cultural and artistic diversity

Founded in 2006, this ceremony celebrates the French and international cultural and artistic scene. This event is the only one of its kind to recognise the following categories: film, theatre, music, literature, live shows, one-person shows, musical comedy and television. By covering so many categories, the ceremony represents real cultural diversity, offering everyone the chance to celebrate and highlight the multitude of talents we have in the Arts.

The Globes de Cristal (Crystal Globes) is the only ceremony where the awards are voted for by professional Arts and Culture journalists from all media (written press, digital, TV and radio). The Academy Jury has 20 expert journalists who nominate five people in each of the 21 categories.

The Globe d’Honneur is awarded to a French artist in honour of their whole career.

In 2019, this award will also be given to an international artist. The Globes de Cristal also recognises generosity, altruism and solidarity, values cherished by its new President, who has decided that an award will be given to a charity every year. [...]
